Whether you’re just starting out, or are well along your path, navigating the emotional, technical and artistic aspects of singing can be both rewarding and challenging.
As a coach, my goal is to support you every step of the way.
I focus on building confidence and fostering a strong connection to your voice, the music, the text, and ultimately to your audience. Every singer is different, which is why my approach is always holistic and tailored to your unique needs, goals and experiences.
With a background as a vocal teacher, coach, accompanist, répétiteur, and adjudicator, I bring a wide lens to the coaching experience. I help singers and choirs orient themselves in the sound world they’re creating — integrating technique, musicality and expression into a cohesive and meaningful whole.
At the heart of my work is a commitment to healthy vocal practice. I strive to ensure every singer I work understands how to use their voice sustainably and expressively, unlocking its full potential while caring for its long-term well-being.
Above all, I aim to nurture a deep appreciation for the artistry of singing — not just as performance, but as an art form that connects us to ourselves and each other.
Over the years, I have designed, directed, and conducted hundreds of singing workshops and rehearsals for singers of all ages and backgrounds from Gospel to Baroque, from online content to live festival performances – I bring energy, and clarity and passion to every session I lead.
My work spans a diverse range of projects, including Gospel Bootcamps (Perth Choral Institute, GoGospel), bespoke baroque workshops (Denmark Baroque Festival), an online singing series for children and opera (WA Opera: Act, Belong, Commit), conducting workshops for emerging conductors (WA Opera), large scale community singing workshops across Australia (Broome Shinju Matsuri Festival). These workshops are more than just educational – they’re transformative experiences that unite singers through shared expression.
